Dynamic Communication work

After looking at some Salvador Dali paintings, as reasearch for ideas on my seed, i came up with these two images (rough unfinished sketches) on the idea of dreams. The girl with the cut out face reveals the random thought going through the girls head. The other one conveys how the dream world and the real world are parellel worlds.

After drawing some ideas for my seed I needed to think of where my area of investigation was. I decided it was my bed (my seed being dreams). In this picture i drew I show how dreams are made up of random thought, fear, memorys hopes and dreams and other elements.

In these pictures, I show how people can some times not be themselves in reality (eg the charcol picture) but in their dreams they are allowed to be who they really are (eg the coloured picture.)

Here are some sketches for my 'seed' in dynamic communications module in my course. This one investigates the words 'The lunatic is a wakeful dreamer' In this picture, I try to convey how people try to understand dreams when some times it is impossible to.

Nightmare animation

Okay heres the nightmare animation, sorry about before, the GIF didn't work so heres the video.

Animation work process

So far, I've come up with the nightmare part of the dream. In this Gif I drew a few different pictures of a screaming man in the dark which I scanned in, and put them together on Flash.

Not sure what sound to put with it yet, Im thinking of recording some lines and sounds and putting it together and editting it to make some abstract sounds. Unfortunalty Im having trouble thinking of what else I can add to the animation.

Final Project Idea

My idea for my final project is a short animation in which it shows the abstract visions in dreams.
